Whoever you are, we would love to have you visit
No matter your background, you are welcome here. We meet Sundays at 9:00 am for Bible study and 10:00 am for worship, and Wednesdays at 7:00 pm for Bible study.
We believe we exist to know, enjoy, and glorify God.
We believe He is the greatest being in all the universe and beyond. We see God most clearly when we see Jesus. We see Jesus most clearly when we see the gospel (2 Cor 4:4, 6).
Let us share this good news with you
In three parts, just as our Good News page tells it.
We have sinned
You, like the first man Adam and every human since him, have sinned (Rom 3.23). You broke God’s law. There’s nothing you can do to undo that one sin.
God loves you
While there’s nothing you can do to undo your sin, there is something God can do, and in fact something God has already done! God loved us so much He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins (Jhn 3.16).
Trust and call on His name
God simply asks that you trust Him and what He has done for you and that you call on His name in baptism (1Pet 3.21; Acts 22:16).
God invites you to reason with Him. His word says, “taste and see that the Lord is good.” We invite you to do the same. Email us your questions.
The church of Christ in Rochelle
As individuals, we are simply followers of Jesus. We have been drawn to God by the cross of Christ (John 12:32) and have entered into a relationship of love and trust with the Lord, being immersed in water in His name (Gal 3.27).
As a group, we seek to glorify God, build up His people, and share the good news with those who have not heard it. Since our goal is glorifying God, we try our best not to let our personal desires and preferences shape or guide our work or worship.
